October is Dyslexia Awareness Month - Free Local Public Talk Happening Tonight!

Did you know October is Dyslexia Awareness Month?  Approximately 1 in every 5 people, of every age, is affected by dyslexia which is not only a correctable learning style but a way of thinking that comes with many gifts as well.  Despite this commonly occurring difference, dyslexia is still widely misunderstood and lacks support within the standard educational system.  Parents are also often without the tools to help their struggling learners.

It does not have to be this way!

Thankfully, Stratford is home to Picture Perfect Learning Solutions, a company led by Nadine Schumont.  I am a dyslexic specialist, I help clients gain the tools and skills they need to open up a whole world of learning and success.

Clients of all ages are shown ways to understand the disorientation and confusion that accompanies their learning differences. My services, PPLS, help those with learning differences such as; dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADD, ADHD, and more harness their unique way of learning and interpreting information as an ability rather than a disability.

I have made it my personal mission to help others avoid the same frustrations and feelings of “otherness” that plagued me through much of my life.  I would like to invite you to come by and hear my story happening tonight at Knox church at the PPLS Resource Center where I will share how I fell in love with my dyslexia, by embracing my differences.
